Winter's Christmas Wish was born out of the heartfelt wish of a young girl who knew the pain of loss and the importance of hope during the holiday season. Winter, a child who tragically lost both parents due to the impact of gun violence in Baltimore, had a selfless wish: All children who lost a parent or were facing difficult times could wake up on Christmas morning with a present waiting under their tree.

Since Winter's wish six years ago, Let's Thrive Baltimore has been committed to making her dream a reality. The program, named after Winter's request, has been a beacon of light, ensuring that children affected by the trauma of gun violence in their families experience the joy and magic of the holiday season through presents.

This year, our mission continues as we strive to make Winter's Christmas Wish come true again. Our goal remains steadfast: to give 1,000 gifts that will bring comfort, happiness, and the spirit of Christmas to the resilient children of Baltimore.
